This Privacy Policy ("Policy") describes how ShadeVPN ("we", "us", "Service") collects, uses, stores and protects information of users ("you", "User") when using ShadeVPN applications for iOS, Android, macOS, Windows, Linux and the website shadenpv.com.

By using the Service you confirm that you have read and agree to this Policy.

3. Data We Collect

3.1. Data Required for Service Operation

Device identifier— a unique ID generated on first app install. Used for subscription binding and authentication.
Platform and OS version— type of operating system (iOS, Android, Windows, macOS, Linux) and its version.
App version— the installed ShadeVPN version number.

3.2. Payment Processing Data

Subscription information— plan type, subscription start and end dates, payment status.
Payment data is processed by the payment operator YooKassa (YooMoney LLC). We do not storebank card numbers, CVV codes or other payment data on our servers.

3.3. Diagnostic Data

When the diagnostic log collection feature is enabled in the app, we may collect:

Connection logs (timestamps of connection and disconnection).
Protocol type used (VLESS, VMess, Trojan, Shadowsocks).
App crash and error reports.

Diagnostic logs are used exclusively for technical support and troubleshooting. They do not contain traffic content, DNS queries, or visited URLs.

3.4. Data We Do NOT Collect

Browsing history— we do not record websites or URLs you visit.
Traffic content— we do not analyse, store or transfer the content of your internet traffic.
DNS queries— we do not keep DNS query logs.
Destination IP addresses— we do not record which IP addresses you connect to through the VPN.

4. Purposes of Data Processing

Providing and maintaining the VPN service.
User authentication and subscription management.
Technical support and troubleshooting.
Payment processing via YooKassa.
Improving the quality and stability of the Service.
Compliance with applicable Russian Federation legislation.

5. Data Retention

5.1. Retention Periods

Account data is retained for the duration of the subscription and 30 days after it ends.
Diagnostic logs are retained for no more than 14 days from collection, then automatically deleted.
Payment data is retained in accordance with Russian accounting and tax legislation requirements.

5.2. Storage Security

All data is transmitted over encrypted channels (TLS 1.3).
Authentication tokens (JWT) are stored in the device's secure storage (Keychain on iOS/macOS, EncryptedSharedPreferences on Android, Windows Credential Manager on Windows).
Server infrastructure is protected by firewalls and intrusion detection systems.

6. Third-Party Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent or transfer your personal data to third parties, except in the following cases:

YooKassa (YooMoney LLC)— payment operator processing payment transactions. Only data required for payment processing is transferred.
Legal requirements— we may disclose information when required by applicable Russian Federation law, upon request by authorised government bodies.

7. User Rights

In accordance with Russian personal data legislation, you have the right to:

Obtain informationabout your personal data being processed.
Request correctionof inaccurate or incomplete data.
Request deletionof personal data (subject to legal restrictions).
Withdraw consentto data processing.

8. Cookies and Analytics

The shadenpv.com website may use technical cookies required for correct site operation. We do not use third-party advertising trackers.

9. Age Restrictions

ShadeVPN is intended for persons over 16 years of age. We do not knowingly collect data from persons under 16. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal data, please contact us at support@shadenpv.com.

10. Changes to this Policy

We reserve the right to make changes to this Policy. The current version is always available at shadenpv.com/privacy. In case of material changes, we will notify users through the app or by email.
